We look forward to seeing alumni, friends, and family on campus for Alumni Weekend and Homecoming, October 9-11, 2026. 

Be sure to check back as reunions and activities may be added!

The Spirit Shop will be open during Alumni Weekend and Homecoming to stock up on all your Raider gear!

Spirit Shop Hours:

Friday, October 9: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, October 10: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, October 11: Closed

Please note: The Spirit Shop is a cashless facility.

  1. Events

    6 p.m. Dedication and Remembrance of Dr. Lewis Phelps 

    You’re invited to join us to officially dedicate a gifted piano in memory of Dr. Lewis A Phelps on Friday, in Presser Recital Hall (Cope Music Hall). Dr. Phelps was emeritus professor of music. He joined the faculty at Mount Union in 1970, where he taught in the Department of Music until his retirement in 2001.  Dr. Phelps passed away earlier this year on March 14, 2026.

    Following the official dedication of the piano, guests are invited to stay in Presser Recital Hall to share music and memories. Light refreshments to follow.

    In honor of Dr. Phelps, the Dr. Lewis A. Phelps Memorial Endowed Scholarship has been established. Contributions may be made online at https://giving.mountunion.edu/forms/DrLewisPhelpsMemorial

  2. Reunions

    10 a.m. Women’s Volleyball Alumni Game, Timken Gymnasium 
    Please join us for a Mount Union Volleyball Alumni Game. Warmups will start at 9:30 a.m. This year’s alumni match will be alumni vs. alumni and will feature a timed 60-minute match. Please RSVP or send any questions to Head Coach Melissa Mahnke-Morrison at mahnkeml@mountunion.edu by September 25.  Please designate if you will be participating in the match or just attending as a spectator; either way, we would love to have you. 

    10 a.m.- 12 p.m., WRMU/Raider Student Media Milestone Celebrations, WRMU, Hoover-Price Campus Center 

    WRMU and Raider Student Media invite you to come home and celebrate an amazing milestone! This fall, we’re honoring 60 years of WRMU and 10 years of Raider Student Media and we want YOU to be part of it. Reconnect with fellow alumni, reminisce about your time behind the mic, in the studio, or in the newsroom, and see how the next generation of student creators are carrying on the legacy you helped build.

     Join Mount Union Marching Band alumni from 1996 to 2026 as we celebrate 30 years of root beer floats with Shirley (Barrick ’56) Weimer!

    Reconnect with fellow band alumni, share your favorite memories, and honor a tradition that has brought generations of musicians together. Come enjoy great company, a root beer float, and a trip down memory lane as we celebrate three decades of friendship, music, and Raider pride.

    Spirit Squad and Dance Team Alumni Event 
    The Spirit Squads Cheer and Dance Teams will be hosting an alumni event during Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2026. This alumni event will help support the squads attending UCA and UDA College Nationals in Orlando, Florida, in January of 2027. Join us for an exciting time on campus as we celebrate the spirit squad!

  5. ArtFest

    10 a.m.- 4 p.m., ArtFest, Campus Lakes
    The 62nd Annual ArtFest will join Homecoming and Alumni Weekend and be held at its historic location around the Campus Lakes of Mount Union. The event will be held in conjunction with the Carnation City Food Truck Rally.  ArtFest features original works by area artists showcasing various media, including watercolor, oil, ceramics, fine crafts, photography, jewelry, and printmaking, among others. ArtFest will also feature merchants selling vintage items, plants, and bulk-created items like t-shirts, mugs, jewelry, etc. The event features items that are both on display and for sale.

  7. MUcaw Fun Zone

    11 a.m. - 1 p.m., MUcaw Fun Zone, Quad 
    Bring the kids to the MUcaw Fun Zone for games, activities, an ice cream truck, balloon artist, face painting, and more! Be sure to keep an eye out because MUcaw will make a special appearance during the event!

Alumni Award Recipients 

DODIE DAVIS ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD

The Alumni Service Award was established in 1942 and is presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in a chosen profession or field and for service to the University or community. The award represents the highest non-academic honor an alumnus/alumna can receive from Mount Union. In 2003, the award was renamed in honor of Dodie Davis ’62 for her 35 years of service and dedication to the institution.

McKINLEY FELLOW AWARD

The McKinley Fellow Award is named for former U.S. President William McKinley, who was a member of the Mount Union Board of Trustees and worked as a friend of the University for many years. This award honors a select group of individuals who have had a significant impact on Mount Union as non-alumni.

YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD

The Young Alumni Award honors and recognizes those who, at very early stages in their chosen careers or callings, exemplify what Mount Union hopes all alumni will strive to achieve upon graduating from Mount Union. The award is given to graduates within the past 15 years of their outstanding support, leadership, and dedication to the University as young alumni.
